Welcome to the website of the Lanark Frontenac Lennox and Addington (LFLA) Green Party of Canada(GPC) Electoral District Association (EDA). We evolved from two previous ridings, Lanark Carlton and Hastings Frontenac Lennox & Addington when the ridings were reconfigured in 2003 and  renamed electoral districts(EDs).

We represent the ED component of the Federal party. We are a large rural ED with four more or less equally sized towns, Perth, Smith's Falls, Napanee and Carleton Place. The area extends from White Lake in the north east to Denbigh in the north west to Amherstview in the south east to Napanee in the south west, it also includes Amherst Island.

At the present we are about 100 members who come from all walks of life and from all political stripes, or none!

Our monthly meetings are usually held on the second Sunday of the month, a potluck lunch meeting, in conjunction with our provincial counterpart the LFLA Green Party of Ontario(GPO) Constituency Association (CA).

At these meetings we conduct the day to day business of the association. and at various times we are involved in planning fundraisers, events, tabling at festivals, organizing salons, hashing out the local issues and of course nominating and supporting a candidate at election time.
