Congratulations to Rolly and his campaign team.  LFLA is a newly configured riding and taking that into account 7.1% more than doubles the 2003 results.

Across Ontario the Greens are 8%, up from 2.3% in 2003.

Rolly Montpellier's Biography.

ImageRolly moved from the Sudbury area to retire in Plevna, where he lives with his wife Karen. They have two grown children and two small grandsons living in Ottawa.

He has an  Honours B.A. in political science, sociology and urban & regional planning from Laurentian University and the University of Waterloo. He has also done post-graduate studies at the University of Toronto.

On Monday August 27th Frank De Jong, along with Rolly Montpellier visited the North Frontenac, Robertsville site and showed his support for the Ardoch Algonquin and Sharbot Obaadjiwan First Nation' ongoing protest against Frontenac Ventures corp. The mining exploration company want to test drill for uranium on the bands' ancestral territory, which is the subject of ongoing land claim negotiations.
